About GradeCalc
GradeCalc is a set of free, fast and accurate grade calculators built for American classrooms, from middle school through college.

Why we built it
Most students check their grades the night before a test or the week before finals, usually on a phone. The tools they find are often cluttered, slow, use a scale that doesn't match their school, or need a "Calculate" button for every change. We wanted the opposite: one clean page per question, results that update as you type, and math you can check yourself.
What we stand for
- Accuracy first. Every calculator is backed by automated tests, and every worked example on the site is checked against the same code that runs the calculator. See how we calculate.
- Built for the U.S. We use the American plus/minus grading scale, the 4.0 GPA scale, credit hours, and Honors/AP weighting, the systems U.S. schools actually use.
- Private by design. Your grades never leave your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Read our privacy policy.
- Free. Every tool is free to use. The site may show advertising to cover hosting costs; ads will never be placed inside a calculator.
Who it's for
Students checking where they stand in a class, planning for a final, or tracking their GPA for college and scholarships. Teachers grading tests with the EZ Grader and printable grade charts. Parents who want to understand a report card.
Our content
Pages and guides are written and reviewed by the GradeCalc team. We explain the formula behind every result, show worked examples, and note where school policies differ (rounding, A+ values, weighting). When a rule depends on your school, we say so rather than guess.
