Results are estimates
Every calculator on gradecalc.us produces an estimate from the numbers you enter. Your official grade or GPA is whatever your teacher, school or college records, and it can differ from our result because of:
- rounding rules (for example, 89.5% rounded up to 90%);
- a different grading scale or GPA scale (such as 93/85/77/70 cutoffs, or A+ = 4.33);
- course weighting rules for Honors, AP, IB or dual enrollment classes;
- dropped scores, extra credit, grade floors, retake or replacement policies;
- typing mistakes in the numbers entered.
Our methodology page lists exactly how each result is calculated so you can compare it with your school's rules.
Not academic, admissions or financial advice
Articles and benchmarks (such as "what is a good GPA") are general information for U.S. students. Requirements for admission, scholarships, eligibility and financial aid change and vary by institution. Always confirm with your school counselor, registrar, the college or the program directly.
No affiliation
GradeCalc is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any school, district, college, the College Board, the NCAA, or any gradebook software such as PowerSchool, Canvas, Infinite Campus or Skyward. Names are used only to help you find your information.
